Our work at the Athletes Village exemplifies this. As part of a much larger development site with an immoveable Olympic deadline offsite construction was vital to delivering a success scheme. Elements included:
-Precast facade panels, as large as possible to be efficient with inlaid brickwork to add richness and human scale
-Windows / glazing assemblies
-Bathroom and Ensuite pods craned into place prior to facades
-Utility cupboards
-Balconies with integrated railings bolted onto the frame
Throughout the process we worked closely with subcontractors and visited workshops to inspect the elements under construction.
