prime site in heart of Bradford
Panter Hudspith Architects worked with a local developer to realise a leisure-focused project overlooking Centenary Square and Bradford Town Hall.

returning active frontages to the square
The form and use of the building create a lively and active place in the centre of the city. Sheltering the structure is a single sweeping metal roof that elegantly follows the curve of the building and rises up to face the City Hall.

creating a civic backdrop to the city hall
There are two urban ideas embodied by this gesture; first, to give the scheme a continuity with a sense of movement and second, to create a scale and geometry that helps define Centenary Square, providing a more formal setting for the Town Hall.
